LCDC Trailer/Float Features
The LCDC Trailer/Float is 14 feet long and when unfolded has a 6 foot wide by 10 foot high back/display board for banners and signs.
The features of the Trailer/Float are as follows:
Trailer hitch is 2 inch receiver with 4 pin electrical connector.
GVWR is under 3000 pounds, therefore special brakes are not required.
When folded and covered, it is protected from seasonal weather. During storage and between events it is folded and covered and can be transported as a PA licensed vehicle.
It has seating during parades for up to 14 people and has racks and shelves which can be used for hand-outs and yard signs for distribution during events.
It has a speaker system with two wired and two wireless microphones. The speaker system is rechargeable and can be used for 7 hours on one charge. In the 'Celebrate Manheim' event Sandy Heisey was able to connect her keyboard into the system and played music between candidates speeches.
Supplies and tools for transporting, assembling and maintaining the float, electrical 6 and 7 pin adapters, extra decorations for the tow vehicle and cables and tools to mount the lighting system are included in storage and tool boxes on the trailer.
When unfolded, various supports are available to hold flags and candidates yard signs during the event.
It also has an LED flood light system powered by the towing vehicle electrical system to illuminate the float.
